Issue loyalty points when a customer completes a qualifying action, such as a purchase, or distribute rewards to a selected audience. Your business decides what earns points; the campaign connects those rewards to a funded budget and clear spending rules.

How issuing points works

1

Set up a funded campaign

Define the audience, campaign budget, and where the rewards can be spent. Choose the earning rules and expiry for campaign rewards.
2

Reward eligible activity

Use confirmed purchases, milestones, or other qualifying events to allocate points. A campaign can also distribute rewards to a selected group of customers.
3

Show customers what they earned

Make the balance, eligible redemption options, and expiry visible so customers know how to use their rewards.
4

Manage the campaign budget

Track issued, redeemed, outstanding, and expired rewards. Where the campaign supports it, recover eligible backing from expired rewards and reuse it for future distributions.

Points and credentials work together

A loyalty credential can prove that a customer qualifies for an offer, such as a Gold-member bonus. The points campaign then determines the reward they receive. Issuing or revoking a credential does not itself add or remove spendable points. See Loyalty credentials for status and eligibility, and Loyalty points for the reward model.
